The Financial Education Community Outreach Program

At People’s United Bank, we believe that supporting our communities is good for business. As a leader in the financial services industry, it is particularly important for People’s United Bank to invest in the financial health and well-being of our neighbors.

The Financial Education Community Outreach Program is a bankwide initiative designed to enhance financial literacy, foster financial stability and improve banking relationships among residents throughout our communities.

Through a structured financial education program, People’s United Bank will be able to provide the tools that are necessary to increase financial literacy among children, teens, young adults and adults.

People’s United Bank Financial Literacy Educators

As part of our outreach efforts and to address our corporate social responsibility and Community Reinvestment Act obligations, Market Managers, FSMs, CSMs and other employees recommended by their supervisors/managers will serve as Financial Literacy Educators. These designated employees will deliver PUB sponsored financial education workshops utilizing age-appropriate topics available through the FDIC Money Smart program.
