Energy and Job Training Links Added to Site
ENERGY AND JOB TRAINING LINKS ADDED TO TOWN'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WEB SITE AT www.hamden-ct.com
The Town Economic Development Department has now added two new links for businesses and homeowners to search for assistance.
"We have added two new valuable links to centralize important opportunities and information. There is so much out there online in different places. We thought this would be a valuable way for tax payers to get this important information," stated Dale Kroop, Director.
This link will help businesses and home owners to search in one location for most programs that are out there for conservation, rebates and financial assistance.
CT Works on Marne Street, the Workforce Alliance, and Gateway Community College and other public institutions and schools offer funding to businesses for (Re) training employees in skills areas in many types of business including but not limited to Health Care and Manufacturing. Additionally public institutions provide vocational skill development in many areas to make citizens more employable in today's economy.
This link provides access to some of the programs particularity for employers. There are differing requirements for different programs but funding is available for employers to train potential employees.
To access the links please go to the Economic and Community Development Department web site at www.hamden-ct.com. Go to the menu called Resources For Businesses or in the side bar on the left of the screen.
For further information about the web site or the Economic and Community Development Department, contact Dale Kroop at 203-287-7030 or email@example.com.
