1/23/2014

  Hamden Economic Development Commission

Speaker Series: Session 2, February 11th, 2014

Internet Marketing- Presented By Little Fish LLC

The Hamden Economic Development Commission is pleased to announce Session 2 of our 2014 Speaker Series, scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room on the third floor of Government Center.

Session Overview:

Did you know that in 2013 one out of every three mobile searchers was looking for something local? Would you like to learn what it takes for your business to be included in those local search results? Join local web designer and marketing consultant, Marjorie Clark, of Little Fish Studios Web Design, for a discussion of what's involved in getting your business found, and how you can convert visitors to buyers with internet marketing.

Internet marketing includes all of the many fast moving pieces of promoting your business on the Web: websites, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email marketing, social media, blogs and video channels. Marjorie will help you to understand how all the pieces fit together. Just thinking you have to do "everything" is overwhelming, but you don't have to feel that way. You'll learn which "channels" might work best to communicate with your particular audience. You'll leave our workshop with knowledge you can use to craft and implement your own individual web marketing strategy.

Little Fish Studios, LLC Web Design and Online Promotion, is a home-based and virtual Hamden business.  Marjorie started building web sites "from scratch" in 1997, and her business has evolved with the times. Little Fish Studios is a full service web design, consulting and marketing company, serving many Hamden business as well as clients around the world.
