TOWN OF HAMDEN BUSINESS ASSISTANCE CENTER TO HOST A FREE SMALL BUSINESS SEMINAR
“STARTING AND MANAGING YOUR BUSINESS SUCESSFULLY”

August 11, 2009 – The Business Assistance Center (“BAC”) which is an initiative by the Town of Hamden and other local and statewide organizations is hosting a free seminar for existing or aspiring small business entrepreneurs entitled “STARTING AND MANAGING YOUR BUSINESS SUCESSFULLY”. The seminar series shall be held on four successive weeks beginning September 10, 2009 and running through October 1, 2009. Experts in their field will be covering topics such as:

  • Identifying the right business opportunity
  • Choosing your business structure
  • Managing your business
  • Financing your business
  • The Business Plan
  • Personal Plan
  • Insuring your business
  • Marketing your business

Each session, which is open to the public, will be held at the Government Center, located at 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT 06518 at 7:00PM in the 3rd floor conference room and will run until 9:30PM. The Business Assistance Center offers free consultation, referral, and follow-up services to Hamden business owners, Hamden residents, and individuals seeking to establish a business enterprise within Hamden. Under the coordination of Richard A. Pearce of Evolution Enterprises LLC the BAC plans to offer additional business seminars, and a fee based Business Certification Program, in such fields as writing business plans, cash flow analysis, personnel and human resource planning, and other topics of interest to its clients.

“The BAC is pleased to host topical business seminars that may provide its clients and the general public with valuable tools which will contribute to their ultimate success in Hamden”, stated Richard A. Pearce, coordinator of the Business Assistance Center.
